LTD Javier Reyes Signature Guitars

Eight-string guitars change how you track heavy and technical parts. The LTD Javier Reyes series, tied to the Animals as Leaders guitarist, offers the JR-208, JR-608 and JRV-8FR as modern extended-range instruments that cover low rhythm parts and high lead lines without switching instruments.

The Fishman Fluence Javier Reyes pickups give every model the same designed-for-Reyes voicing, which gives producers and home-studio players a consistent source to build a guitar sound around. It suits progressive, djent-leaning, fusion and modern metal production, where note definition across a wide range matters when layering parts.

Tiers vary by build level and finish, from the JR-208 up through the JR-608 and the JRV-8FR, with prices from about $799 to $2,299. Studio Gears offers the series for anyone adding an eight-string to a recording setup.

ESP LTD Javier Reyes Signature Guitars - frequently asked questions

What pickups come in the ESP LTD Javier Reyes guitars?

Each model in the LTD Javier Reyes series carries Fishman Fluence Javier Reyes pickups. That gives the JR-208, JR-608 and JRV-8FR a common voice tuned to his playing style, with clear articulation across the wide low and high range that an eight-string offers.

Is the LTD Javier Reyes series a good choice for a first eight-string guitar?

Yes, it can be. The range runs from entry-level to premium, so the JR-208 offers a way in for first-time eight-string players. The JR-608 and the JRV-8FR in Metallic Gold are a step up. Every instrument is set up and professionally packed, with free US shipping and 30-day returns.

What styles of music suit the LTD Javier Reyes eight-string guitars?

These guitars are built around the playing of the Animals as Leaders guitarist, so they suit progressive, technical and modern metal. Fusion-leaning players who want clear articulation across a wide range will also find them a natural fit, thanks to the extra low and high register of eight strings.
