James Hetfield Signature Guitars (ESP & LTD) - frequently asked questions
What is the difference between ESP and LTD James Hetfield guitars?
Both tiers feature James Hetfield's signature designs. ESP-branded models sit at the top of the range, while LTD models offer the same signature designs at a lower entry point. The family includes the Snakebyte, Iron Cross and Vulture, all with set-neck construction and EMG JH Het Set pickups.
Which James Hetfield signature models are available, and in what finishes?
The lineup centers on three models: the Snakebyte, the Iron Cross and the Vulture. Finishes include Black Satin, Snow White and Snow White with Black Stripes, and the Vulture also comes in Olympic White. The Iron Cross and Snakebyte each have their own distinct body shape.
Do James Hetfield guitars come in left-handed versions, and are there B-Stock options?
Yes. Left-handed versions of the Iron Cross and Snakebyte are available, including finishes like Snow White and Black Satin. The range also includes B-Stock units, which are open-box, discounted and fully covered. Every instrument is set up and professionally packed, and shipping within the US is free.
