The mahogany body and bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fretboard give this Sun Valley a thick midrange backbone with the tight attack and snap of a 25.5" scale, while the EMG Retro Active Hot 70 in the bridge delivers a hot, aggressive output that stays articulate under high gain. The Sustainiac in the neck position adds infinite sustain and harmonic feedback on demand, turning long-held bends and melodic lines into sustained singing tones without an amp cranked to the edge. Paired with a Floyd Rose Special locking tremolo, 24 X-jumbo frets, a 14" radius and a thin 'C' neck strung with .009–.046 sets, it's aimed squarely at hard rock and metal lead work, dive-bomb-heavy playing, and shred-oriented soloing.
