Which guitar is better for lead soloing and effects?
The Sun Valley Super Shredder FR S, thanks to its Floyd Rose tremolo system, Sustainiac neck pickup with feedback mode, and 24 frets optimized for technical passages across a familiar scale length.
How do the pickups compare?
The Sun Valley pairs an EMG active humbucker (bridge) with a Sustainiac (neck) for aggressive, high-output lead tones and feedback effects. The PT EX uses two Schecter USA humbuckers with a warmer, more traditional voice designed for sustained rhythm and clarity across baritone frequencies.
