ESP LTD TH Series: Studio Guitars

In the studio, the LTD TH series offers a T-style single-cutaway fitted with humbuckers. That pairing tends to give a thick, strong signal that works well for tracking rhythm parts and lead lines with plenty of gain. The set-thru neck gives a consistent feel across the fretboard, which helps when you are punching in takes late in a session. Studio Gears carries the series for producers who want a modern rock voice on hand.

Tuning stability matters when you are stacking overdubs, so the TH-1000ET with its Evertune bridge deserves a look for double-tracked rhythm work. The TH-1000 offers the same core design in a higher tier, and the TH-400 delivers the shape and humbucker approach at a friendlier price for a home setup. Finishes include See Thru Black Sunburst, Snow White, Charcoal Metallic and Scarlet Metallic.

With prices from around $899 to $1,699, the series covers a project studio's first dedicated heavy-guitar option and a more serious upgrade. See what is available in the grid below.
