Wiring: factory lead wiring varies by model. Each product page states whether that pickup ships 1-conductor or 4-conductor; where a 4-conductor version is not the stock build it is a special order (about 3 weeks, extra cost).

Seymour Duncan Distortion Pickups - frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Seymour Duncan SH-6n, SH-6b and TB-6 Distortion pickups?
The difference is position and routing. The SH-6n is the neck-position humbucker, the SH-6b is the bridge-position humbucker, and the TB-6 is the Trembucker, a bridge model made for guitars with tremolo-style routing. All are voiced for high-gain playing. Pick the position first, then the finish.
What colors do Seymour Duncan Distortion pickups come in?
Finish is the main way to tell the models apart. Options include black, white, zebra and reverse zebra bobbins, and the Trembucker also appears in a gold cover. There is also an SH-6n and SH-6b Distortion Mayhem set in black, which pairs neck and bridge pickups in one purchase.
Are Seymour Duncan Distortion pickups a good choice for heavy, high-gain playing?
Yes, that is the idea behind the family. The Distortion pickups are voiced for high-gain playing and suit players who want a heavier, more aggressive tone. A 7-String Distortion bridge model extends this to extended-range guitars. Prices run from affordable to premium, and every instrument ships professionally packed.
