Schecter Sunset Guitars - frequently asked questions
What is the Schecter Sunset series?
The Sunset series is Schecter's take on the offset double-cutaway shape, a familiar alternative to traditional single-cut and double-cut designs. It gives that silhouette a modern, hard-rock-friendly treatment. The family includes the Sunset-6 and Sunset-7 Extreme, the Sunset Red Dawn and ET Red Dawn, and the Sunset Custom-II.
Does the Schecter Sunset come in 7-string and left-handed versions?
Yes. Both 6-string and 7-string versions are part of the Sunset family, including the Sunset-7 Extreme and Sunset-7 ET Red Dawn. Left-handed models are available too, such as the Sunset-7 Extreme LH in Scarlet Burst. A B-Stock unit is also part of the range, open-box, discounted and fully covered.
What finishes does the Schecter Sunset come in, and how do the models differ?
The Sunset Extreme is offered in Grey Ghost and Scarlet Burst, while the Red Dawn and ET Red Dawn models come in Gloss Black. Prices sit in a fairly narrow band, so choosing between models mostly comes down to finish, string count and the Extreme, Red Dawn or Custom-II treatment. Every instrument is set up and professionally packed.
