Description
Sound & Tone
The mahogany body with a quilted maple top gives this Omen Extreme-6 a warm, thick low end with added brightness and cut on top, while the 25.5" scale and string-thru Tune-O-Matic bridge keep the attack tight and articulate. The dual Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers push a hot, focused output that handles high-gain rhythm work and lead playing, making it a natural fit for hard rock and metal, with the push-pull tone control and 3-way switch offering cleaner, thinner voicings when you back off the gain. The 24 X-Jumbo frets on a 14" radius rosewood fretboard support fast runs and bends in the upper register.
