Sound & Tone
The mahogany body with burl top and bolt-on maple neck give the Omen Elite-7 a punchy, well-defined attack with warmth underneath, and the string-thru hardtail bridge adds sustain and resonance that keeps low notes tight rather than muddy. Its Schecter Diamond Heretic passive humbuckers push thick, aggressive tones that stay articulate through dense chord voicings, while the 5-way switch opens up leaner blended sounds for cleaner passages. The 26.5" scale keeps the seventh string focused in drop tunings, making this a natural fit for progressive metal, djent-leaning riffing, and extended-range lead work.
Schecter Omen Elite-7 Guitar Black Cherry Burst
Capturing powerful extended-range performances demands an instrument built for precision and sustain. The thin, fast maple neck with its comfortable "C" profile and perfectly balanced mahogany body invite extended playing sessions across all seven strings. This bolt-on construction delivers punchy note definition and articulate sustain, while the lower bout cutaway grants effortless access to higher frets for solos and intricate passages. The Black Cherry Burst finish pairs visual appeal with a responsive platform built for serious extended-range work.
Playability & Construction
The 26.5" scale paired with a thin "C" neck (measuring .787" at the 1st fret and .866" at the 12th) creates a fast, ergonomic playing surface ideal for extended-range techniques. 24 X-Jumbo frets on a 16" radius rosewood fretboard provide expansive string-bending range and quick position shifts, while the Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut ensures stable intonation and crisp articulation across all strings.
Recording Tone & Electronics
Dual Schecter Diamond Heretic passive humbuckers capture thick, articulate tones with natural aggression in drop tunings while maintaining clarity through complex chord voicings—essential for layered, multi-tracked sessions. The Volume/Tone/5-Way Switch configuration gives you intuitive control over pickup blending and tonal shaping during recording, while the Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge with string-thru body maximizes sustain and resonance without compromising tuning stability across takes.
