Description
Sound & Tone
The mahogany body with poplar burl top and bolt-on maple neck give this Omen Elite-6 a firm, focused foundation, while the 25.5" scale and string-thru hardtail bridge add tightness and sustain to low notes. Dual Schecter Heretic 6 humbuckers push high-output, articulate tones from both positions, and the 5-way blade switch opens up thinner, more cutting voices between the full humbucker settings. The thin C neck, 14" radius and 24 X-jumbo frets suit hard rock and metal rhythm work, extended-range leads and wide bends up the neck.
Schecter Omen Elite-6 Guitar See-Thru Blue Burst B-Stock 1739
The Omen Elite-6 is engineered for studio tracking and session work, with a thin C maple neck and 24 extra jumbo frets across a 25.5" scale length that promotes fast, accurate finger movement during layered recording passes. The See-Thru Blue Burst finish over figured poplar burl delivers visual character without the premium price tag. This B-stock unit offers full functionality and specification parity with new models at a significant savings, making it an excellent choice for producers building or expanding home-studio rigs.
Playability & Recording Response
The thin C neck profile combined with a 14" fretboard radius on rosewood accommodates both smooth lead articulation and aggressive bending without fret noise—critical for clean tracking. The Graph Tech XL Tusq nut at 1.653" width ensures consistent string spacing and superior sustain across all six strings, translating to even pick attack and reliable intonation when layering guitars.
Tone & Signal Path
Twin Schecter Heretic 6 humbucker pickups capture articulate, high-output tones from both neck and bridge positions, giving engineers tonal flexibility for everything from warm rhythm textures to cutting lead lines—all controlled through a 5-way blade pickup switch with independent master volume and tone controls. The mahogany body with bolt-on construction provides a solid tonal foundation while remaining straightforward to service between sessions.
