Description
Sound & Tone
The set mahogany body gives this seven-string a warm, punchy voice with strong sustain, while the Schecter pickups push a thick, articulate output that stays defined under high gain rather than turning thin or brittle. The extended seventh string adds low-end reach for heavy rock, metal, and progressive playing, from dense power chords to lead lines that need to cut through a mix. A thin, fast neck supports rapid shred passages and intricate fingerwork, making it a fit for players who lean on speed and clarity in aggressive styles.
Schecter Damien-7 Satin Black B-Stock
The Damien-7 delivers a thin, fast neck that accelerates through rapid passages and complex finger work with minimal resistance. Its buttery satin black finish feels smooth in hand, and the set mahogany body resonates with warm, punchy character ideal for heavy rock, metal, and progressive playing across all seven strings.
Recording Performance & Responsiveness
The slim neck profile enables precise articulation and fast tracking for layered rhythm and lead sessions. Set mahogany construction provides excellent sustain and resonance, capturing clear definition and projection in your recordings that translates well through mix processing and sits naturally in dense arrangements.
Tone & Pickup Character
Schecter pickups deliver thick, articulate output that cuts through a dense mix without sounding thin or brittle. The instrument's inherent tonal character excels in both crushing power chord takes and screaming solo passages, with the body resonance contributing to sustained, focused tone that holds its own in production.
