Frequently asked questions
Are these actually different guitars or the same model with different serial numbers?
Both are Schecter Damien-7 seven-string guitars with mahogany bodies, thin necks, and Schecter pickups optimized for metal and progressive styles. Product A provides complete specifications (26.5" scale, Hipshot bridge, Diamond Heretic pickups, 24 X-Jumbo frets), while Product B omits these details, suggesting they may be identical instruments with different inventory tracking numbers.
What is B-Stock condition and how much should I save?
B-Stock means the guitar has minor cosmetic imperfections but functions like new; Product B explicitly mentions white marks on the finish. The price difference between the two units is not provided in the data, so compare the listed prices directly at checkout.
Is the 26.5 inch scale length right for 7-string drop tuning?
Yes, the 26.5" scale (specified only in Product A) is optimized for seven-string tuning and response, supporting extended range and lower drop tunings without floppy strings or intonation issues.
Will this handle aggressive metal and shred playing?
Both units are designed for metal, progressive, and hard rock with a thin, fast neck, 24 frets for technical work, and pickups that deliver sustained, articulate output under aggressive playing. The carbon fiber-reinforced neck (mentioned in Product A) resists fatigue during extended sessions.
