All Ibanez →Ibanez EHB Ergonomic Headless Basses - frequently asked questions
What makes the Ibanez EHB different from a regular bass?
The Ibanez EHB is a headless bass with a chambered, lightweight body, which keeps it compact and balanced. It uses Mono-rail bridges for string anchoring and setup, and Bartolini BH2 pickups with a Vari-mid 3-band EQ give it a wide tonal range.
What is the benefit of the multi-scale EHB models like the EHB1005MS and EHB1505MS?
Multi-scale EHB basses use fanned frets, which give a firmer low B and a more even response across the strings. If you prefer a traditional layout, the series also includes parallel-fret versions, plus 4-, 5- and 6-string configurations and fretless options.
Are there B-Stock or left-handed Ibanez EHB basses available?
The current EHB selection includes B-Stock units, which are open-box, discounted and fully covered. They include fretless and multi-scale basses in matte and flat finishes. There are currently no left-handed EHB models in the range, so check back if you need one.
