Ibanez Advanced Acoustic Guitars - frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Ibanez Advanced Acoustic AAD and AAM models?
The AAD is the Grand Dreadnought shape and the AAM is the Auditorium shape. Both use a comfort-focused high-back design and X-bracing for a familiar acoustic voice. Letter suffixes and finish names, such as open-pore or gloss, help you tell the individual variants apart.
Can you plug in an Ibanez Advanced Acoustic guitar?
Yes. The CE models, such as the AAM380CE, add the Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup, which makes them practical for plugging in. Models without the CE designation, like the AAM370E, are also named for onboard electronics, so both examples in this range are set up for amplified use.
Are there B-Stock or left-handed Ibanez Advanced Acoustic guitars available?
There is currently a B-Stock AAM370E in Antique White, an open-box unit that is discounted and fully covered. No left-handed models are listed right now. Every instrument is set up and professionally packed, and the grid updates as stock changes, so check back for new arrivals.
