Baton Rouge Acoustic Guitars - frequently asked questions
Are Baton Rouge acoustic guitars good for beginners?
Yes, the range works well for players moving up to a first serious acoustic. Model names like the X6, X11, AR11, AR21 and AR31 point to different tiers, so you can start with an affordable entry model and step up to a more refined, premium instrument as your playing develops.
Does Baton Rouge make acoustic-electric guitars with a cutaway?
Yes. The lineup includes auditorium cutaway guitars such as the AR11C/ACE and AR21C/ACE, plus the TLM/ACEC acoustic-electric. Cutaways give easier access to the upper frets, and onboard electronics let you plug in for amplified playing, which suits stage use and recording.
What body shapes and finishes do Baton Rouge acoustics come in?
Shapes include auditorium cutaways, a Florentine cutaway (X6C/AC-AF) and steel-string models. Finishes go beyond natural, such as the X11LS/F-SBB in Screwed Berry Blue. There are also signature models, like the Alexandr Misko AR11S and AR31S. Left-handed versions and B-Stock units are not currently listed.
