Sound & Tone
The solid spruce top over mahogany back and sides gives this Takamine a warm, balanced voice with clear note definition and articulate sustain, leaning woody and midrange-focused rather than overly bright. The FXC body with Venetian cutaway keeps higher-fret work accessible, making it equally at home with fingerstyle passages and strummed chord progressions across folk, singer-songwriter, country, and pop material. Plugged in, the TP-4TD preamp's three-band EQ, gain control, and onboard tuner let you shape that acoustic character for stage or recording without hunting for outboard gear.
Takamine GF30CE-BLK G-Series G30 Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar in Black Finish
The soft Venetian-style cutaway on this Takamine GF30CE-BLK sits naturally against your torso, providing comfortable access to higher frets for both fingerpicking and chord work. A solid spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides generates a warm, balanced tone with excellent clarity and articulate sustain. The slim mahogany neck and responsive action make extended playing sessions rewarding, whether tracking unplugged or running directly into your interface through the onboard electronics.
Build & Playability
The FXC body style combines ergonomic comfort with a professional cutaway design.
