Description
Seymour Duncan TB-12 Screamin' Demon Trembucker White Pickup
The TB-12 Screamin' Demon Trembucker is a bridge pickup engineered to cut through dense mixes with aggressive, articulate high-end presence while maintaining tight sustain and note clarity. Hand-built in Santa Barbara with medium output and an Alnico 5 bar magnet, it records with excellent string-to-string definition across all six strings, making it ideal for layered tracking and multi-tracked arrangements.
Recording & Mix Performance
With a DC resistance of 10.9k Ohm and slightly overwound coils, the Screamin' Demon captures a focused, percussive attack that sits well in competitive mixes, especially valuable for rock and metal production. Vacuum wax potting eliminates microphonic squeal, ensuring clean recordings and feedback-free operation during high-gain sessions without unwanted artifacts.
Studio Setup & Specifications
Built specifically for wide string spacing, this Trembucker features mixed pole pieces—one row of standard adjustable screws paired with Allen head screws on the opposite row—allowing precise output balancing and tone shaping for different session needs.
