Seymour Duncan Ryan Fluff Bruce Bridge FLF (matte black) Pickup

Seymour Duncan Ryan Fluff Bruce Bridge FLF Pickup (Matte Black)

The Ryan Fluff Bruce FLF is a bridge humbucker engineered to capture aggressive output with articulate definition in your recordings. This custom shop pickup merges the punchy character of the JB Model with the raw intensity of the Black Winter, delivering a voiced solution for high-gain tracking and modern production contexts. The matte black finish and hardware provide a sleek, understated aesthetic that complements contemporary instrument builds.

Design & Construction

Hand-built in the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop, this pickup features Alnico 4 bar magnet for controlled harmonic response and short mounting legs designed specifically for bridge position installation. Black nickel hardware and matte black bobbins with the classic Olde English Seymour Duncan logo reinforce the premium custom shop pedigree, ensuring consistent performance across recording sessions.

Electronics & Wiring

4-conductor wiring enables coil splitting and series/parallel switching, offering tonal flexibility for session work and mix-ready adaptability. A DCR of 16.6 indicates a moderately hot coil with sufficient headroom for clean articulation and clarity even under aggressive amplification, preserving definition in dense mixes.
