Description
Seymour Duncan Nazgûl/Sentient Rail Matte Black Pickup Set
This high-output pickup pairing delivers aggressive articulation in the bridge with controlled, articulate response in the neck, engineered for modern heavy music production and extended-range guitars. The rail configuration provides consistent magnetic field across all string widths, making these pickups equally effective on 6-string, 7-string, or 8-string instruments. The matte black finish integrates seamlessly into dark aesthetic builds while the hand-built Santa Barbara construction ensures consistent quality and performance across paired units.
Tone & Output Character
The Nazgûl bridge humbucker produces high-gain output with tight low-end definition and articulate midrange clarity, cutting through dense mixes without muddiness during tracking and overdubs. The Sentient neck humbucker balances output with smooth sustain and articulate note separation, providing responsive lead capture and clean rhythm tones across the frequency spectrum for versatile session work.
Construction & Design
Alnico 8 bar magnets deliver focused magnetic field strength and extended dynamic range, translating aggressive playing techniques into clear, defined recordings. Vacuum wax potting eliminates microphonic feedback and squeal, ensuring stable performance during heavy use, high-gain tracking, and studio recording applications.
