Description
Seymour Duncan Hades Gates Gold Pickup Set
The Seymour Duncan Hades Gates Gold delivers a commanding, articulate voice with impressive clarity and sustain. These overwound Alnico 2 humbuckers respond aggressively to pick attack while maintaining definition across the frequency spectrum, making them ideal for heavy styles where tonal precision in recording and mixing sits as high as raw output.
Tone & Output Characteristics
Engineered as an overwound Alnico 2 design, these pickups generate substantial output without sacrificing note separation or dynamic response. The neck pickup's 8.06K DC resistance and bridge pickup's 8.8K resistance provide balanced response across the set, capturing aggression and articulation that translate clearly through your preamp chain and into your DAW.
Construction & Wiring
Handmade in Santa Barbara, California, each pickup features 4-conductor wiring for maximum flexibility in coil-splitting and series/parallel configurations—ideal for tracking multiple tones from a single instrument. The short mounting legs accommodate most modern guitar cavities without modification, and the included 4-conductor cable streamlines installation and setup.
