Seymour Duncan Exciter Pickups - frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Seymour Duncan Exciter Bridge and TB pickups?
The difference is the position type. The Bridge models are made for the standard bridge slot, while the TB designation points to the Tune-o-Matic-style bridge position. Pick the one that matches the bridge setup on your guitar, then choose a finish that suits its look.
What finishes do Seymour Duncan Exciter pickups come in?
The Exciter family is organized mainly by finish. Options include Gold Cover, Nickel Cover, Black, White, Zebra and Reverse Zebra. Metal covers and bobbin colors let you coordinate with your hardware or make a deliberate cosmetic statement. Availability varies by position and finish, so check the grid on the page.
Can I upgrade my guitar with Seymour Duncan Exciter pickups without replacing it?
Yes. Each Exciter pickup is a swap-in upgrade that changes the voice of an existing guitar without replacing the instrument. Prices sit in a narrow band, so the choice usually comes down to position and appearance. Every instrument is set up and professionally packed, with free US shipping and 30-day returns.
