Tone & Recording Performance

The neck pickup employs Alnico II rods with a 7.55k DC resistance for warm, articulate midrange and smooth sustain that captures vocal-like smoothness in rhythm and lead layers alike. The bridge pickup uses Alnico IV rods with a 7.44k DC resistance, providing snap and aggression with excellent note separation—engineered to cut through a mix without sacrificing definition, making overdubs and lead passes recordable with minimal EQ intervention.

Design & Construction

Both pickups feature single conductor cloth pushback cable for vintage-friendly wiring and reliability in studio rig setups. The bridge pickup uses classic grey forbon flatwork, while the neck delivers period-correct flatwork construction. Every unit is handmade in Santa Barbara, California by Seymour Duncan's luthier team, ensuring meticulous assembly and consistent tonal response across recording sessions.
