Seymour Duncan Billy Gibbons Red Devil Pickups

For recording, the pickup is the first microphone in the chain, and the Billy Gibbons Red Devil line from Seymour Duncan is a way to put a signature rock and blues character at the very start of your signal path. The family name points to Billy Gibbons, so these suit producers and engineers tracking raw, riff-forward guitar parts.

Position choices make the range practical for session work. Neck, middle and bridge models are sold separately, letting you tailor the guitar you track with, and Red Devil Sets cover the whole instrument in a single move. Having each position voiced for the same family gives you a consistent starting point before amps, mics and plugins come into play.

Covers come in black, cream, parchment and white, handy for a house guitar that needs to look right on camera or in content. Prices run from about $129 to $387. Studio Gears keeps the current selection below, so you can choose the position and finish for your next project.
