Description
Seymour Duncan Alex Skolnick TB White Pickup
The Seymour Duncan Alex Skolnick humbucker delivers articulate, punchy response with controlled output that captures clarity and harmonic depth in professional recordings. This signature pickup set, finished in clean white, brings studio-grade versatility to home sessions, tracking, and mixing work where tonal definition and dynamic control are essential.
Recording Tone & Tonal Character
The bridge pickup's 17.7k DC resistance cuts through dense mixes with focused high-end punch, sitting cleanly in stereo or layered arrangements, while the neck pickup's 7.86k DC resistance maintains lower output and vintage-voiced clarity that preserves pick articulation and finger dynamics for expressive takes. Both pickups use Alnico 5 rough cast magnets, delivering the balanced harmonic content and note-to-note responsiveness that translates accurately to tape or DAW.
Studio Flexibility & Wiring
Each pickup features four-conductor wiring, enabling series, parallel, or split configurations to shape your recorded sound across different session requirements and mixing contexts. The white finish provides a classic aesthetic while the balanced voicing across the pair ensures smooth tonal transitions that hold definition from neck to bridge during tracking and overdubs.
