Sound & Tone
The swamp ash body keeps the voice open and lively with a firm low end, while the 5-piece maple and walnut neck and Richlite fretboard add stiffness and attack that translate into tight note separation, even in lower tunings. The Schecter Brimstone humbucker pair pushes hard with cutting upper-midrange clarity, holding definition under heavy gain rather than blurring into mush across the seven-string range. It suits modern metal rhythm work, progressive rock passages that demand clean articulation, and extended-range riffing where each string needs to speak clearly; the extra jumbo stainless steel frets support fast legato and wide bends with a slick, consistent feel.
Schecter USA Custom Sunset Extreme 7 Stabilized Top Guitar
This USA Custom Shop seven-string captures extended-range articulation and aggression across studio sessions and live tracking. The stabilized burl top provides visual sophistication while the responsive playing platform is engineered for fast, precise note definition across both standard and deeper tunings. Built to exacting standards in Schecter's domestic facility, this instrument combines premium materials with professional-grade electronics for modern metal, progressive rock, and extended-range recording applications.
Build & Materials
