Alder body and 25.5" scale give this PT a bright, snappy foundation, with the VT-1 bridge single-coil supplying cutting twang and the Route '57 neck humbucker adding rounder, warmer body for chords and lead lines. The VS-1 RWRP middle pickup fills out the 5-way switching with hum-cancelling in-between positions, while the pull-to-split volume and pull-to-expand tone open up further blends between single-coil clarity and thicker humbucker weight. Suited to country, blues, roots rock and pop session work where one instrument needs to cover both spanky twang and fuller-voiced rhythm tones, with stainless frets and a 12" radius supporting bends and fast phrasing.

The PT Wembley Studio captures articulate, responsive recordings with its satin-finished roasted maple neck and carefully contoured Custom 'C' neck shape. The aged nitro finish in Seafoam Green yields a visually distinctive instrument that preserves the tonal clarity expected from quality alder construction, while the vintage-inspired hardware maintains rock-solid tuning stability through long tracking sessions.
Playability & Recording Feel
This Custom Shop build features a roasted maple neck with rosewood fretboard, fitted with 22 Jescar Premium German stainless steel frets and 0.25" vintage dot inlays. The 12" fretboard radius with neck dimensions of 0.825" at the 1st fret and 0.865" at the 12th fret enables fluid tracking and overdubbing across the entire 25.5" scale, while the Graphtech Black Tusq nut (1.67" width) ensures consistent string response and reliable intonation session to session.
Pickup & Tone Shaping
The SSH pickup configuration—VT-1 bridge, VS-1 RWRP middle, and Route '57 with Nickel Cover neck—delivers versatile tonal range from articulate single-coil definition to focused humbucker warmth that sits cleanly in dense mixes.
