Description
Sound & Tone
The alder body with bolt-on maple neck and 25.5" scale gives this Super Shredder PT a bright, snappy attack and tight note separation, while the maple fretboard adds extra top-end clarity. EMG RetroActive Hot 70 humbuckers push punchy, articulate high-gain tones with plenty of output for rhythm chug and cutting leads, and the independent bridge and neck volumes plus 3-way toggle let you dial in cleaner, rounder neck voicings without touching the amp. Paired with the Floyd Rose tremolo, jumbo frets and 14" radius, it's aimed squarely at hard rock and metal players who want fast legato runs, wide bends and dive-bomb effects.
Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder PT FR in Seafoam Green – B Stock
This Sun Valley Super Shredder PT FR is built for high-velocity studio tracking and live recording sessions. The Thin-C maple neck and 25.5" scale length deliver fast response across the fretboard for capturing articulate, controlled performances in a single take. The bolt-on construction provides direct neck-to-body coupling for snappy transient definition and clear note separation—essential when tracking against backing tracks or click. B stock condition with minor cosmetic marks on the fretboard (see photos) offers significant savings without compromising playability or recorded tone.
Playability & Recording Response
The hard rock maple neck with Thin-C contour enables precise finger placement and clean legato work during overdubs, while the 14" fretboard radius and 22 jumbo frets support wide bending expressions and fast melodic passages without string buzz. A 1.625" nut width and 42mm body depth reduce finger fatigue during extended tracking sessions and allow confident, controlled attack across all dynamic ranges.
Tone & Electronics for Tracking
The EMG RetroActive Hot 70 humbuckers paired with a Schecter Floyd Rose Hot Rod Special bridge capture punchy, defined tones with smooth pitch control and expressive vibrato effects—ideal for layering multiple guitar parts or executing precision bends in the mix. Independent bridge and neck volume controls plus a 3-way toggle selector allow rapid voice switching between rhythm and lead tones without breaking the tracking flow.
