Description
Sound & Tone
The EMG P neck pickup lays down thick, punchy low mids while the EMG MMCS at the bridge adds bite and articulation, and the 2-band active EQ with blend lets you dial anywhere between round fingerstyle warmth and aggressive, cutting attack. Mahogany neck-thru construction and an ebony fretboard give long sustain with a firm, focused note core, and the 35" scale keeps low notes tight and defined rather than loose. It suits rock, metal, and modern progressive playing, as well as slap and pick work where clarity and headroom matter.
Schecter Stiletto Stealth-4 Pro EX Bass Satin Black
The Stiletto Stealth-4 Pro EX tracks with clarity and precision in the studio, thanks to its neck-thru construction and thin C-profile neck that allows for controlled, articulate playing across all registers. This bass is engineered for session work and tracking, featuring a 35" scale and seamless access to all 24 frets for dynamic part development. The satin black finish pairs understated aesthetics with a purposeful design that translates easily to recording environments.
Recording Performance & Instrument Design
A mahogany neck-thru body with ultra-access design ensures solid sustain and tonal consistency during takes, while maple stringers and two carbon fiber reinforcement rods maintain tuning stability throughout long sessions. The thin C neck profile paired with a 35" scale length and 24 X-Jumbo frets on a 16" fretboard radius facilitates rapid finger movement and clean articulation for both locked groove work and intricate bass lines. Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dot markers aid navigation during dimly lit studio tracking.
Studio Electronics & Tone Shaping
The bass pairs an EMG MMCS bridge pickup with an EMG P neck pickup and EMG 2-band active EQ, delivering articulate midrange definition and responsive low-end control that cuts through dense mixes. Master Volume/Blend and 2-band EQ controls with metal dome knobs enable quick tone sculpting during pre-production and between takes, allowing you to dial in everything from tight, punchy pocket playing to full, resonant bass foundations.
