Description
Sound & Tone
The mahogany body and neck-thru construction lend a thick, sustaining low end with a warm midrange, while the ebony fretboard adds clarity and snap to note attack. The EMG P neck pickup delivers punchy, thumping fundamentals and the EMG MMCS bridge pickup brings growl and bite, with the blend control and 2-band active EQ letting you shape anything from dub-deep support to aggressive, cutting tones. On a 34-inch scale with a thin neck and 24 jumbo frets, it suits rock, metal, and modern fingerstyle or slap playing where articulation up high matters.
Schecter Stiletto-4 Stealth Pro Bass in Satin Black
The Stiletto-4 Stealth Pro captures articulate, controlled bass tones with a slim, fast-playing neck profile and lightweight ergonomic body that keeps fatigue out of marathon recording and overdub sessions. This neck-thru design balances precision engineering with modern playability, translating to clean takes and consistent technique across multiple takes. The satin black finish integrates seamlessly into any studio environment without visual distraction.
Playability & Feel
A thin 'C' neck shape and 34" scale with 24 X-Jumbo frets create a responsive platform for capturing both fingerstyle definition and pick-driven attack. The Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.496" width) and 16" fretboard radius on Indian ebony deliver rock-solid intonation tracking and smooth lateral movement across the fingerboard, while Luminlay side markers ensure visibility during dimly-lit studio sessions.
Tone & Electronics
The dual-pickup configuration pairs an EMG MMCS bridge pickup with an EMG P neck pickup, capturing articulate highs and punchy lows controlled via a 2-band EMG EQ with volume and blend controls. TonePros M Series tuners and a fully-adjustable bridge (top-load or string-thru capable) provide both rock-solid tuning stability and tonal flexibility for blending into dense mixes or anchoring the low end.
