Sound & Tone
The mahogany body with figured maple top and multi-ply maple/walnut neck give this six-string a punchy, midrange-forward voice, while the 35" scale keeps the low B tight and defined rather than woolly. EMG HZ pickups running through an active 2-band EQ with blend control deliver articulate attack and enough cutting clarity to stay audible in dense mixes, with the rosewood board taking a slight edge off the top end. It suits rock, metal, funk and progressive playing, particularly for players who need chordal work, tapping and fast runs across 24 frets to read clearly.
Schecter Stiletto Custom-6 Electric Bass Gloss Natural
The Stiletto Custom-6 is engineered for session and studio bass work, offering a contoured mahogany body and thin 'C' neck profile that enable precise technical execution in both seated tracking and standing overdub positions. This six-string bass captures a smooth, articulate tone with punchy midrange presence that sits clearly in dense mixes without competing for space. Designed to handle rock, metal, funk, and progressive material with equal precision, it delivers the responsiveness and build quality that professionals demand during long tracking days.
Playability & Build
The maple/walnut multi-ply neck with thin 'C' profile measures 0.787" at the first fret and 0.866" at the 12th, providing fast access to all 24 X-Jumbo frets across a 16" radius rosewood fretboard. A 35" scale with Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (2.125" width) and dual 2-way adjustable truss rods maintain stable intonation and consistent neck geometry essential for tracking consistency, while the figured maple top and gloss natural finish showcase the mahogany body's construction quality.
Tone & Electronics
EMG HZ pickups paired with active 2-band EQ and dedicated volume and blend controls capture articulate, defined tones with excellent midrange character for cutting clarity in layered arrangements. Satin gold hardware and Schecter tuners complete a setup tuned for dynamic range and frequency definition across all genres.
