Description

Schecter SLS ELITE-4 Evil Twin Electric Bass in Satin Black

The SLS ELITE-4 is engineered for capture—a lightweight, supremely playable four-string with neck-thru construction and thin C contour that translates to consistent, fatigue-free tracking during marathon session work. The 34" scale and ebony fretboard with glow-in-the-dark side markers deliver precision tracking and visual clarity under studio lighting. This is a modern workhorse designed for producers and engineers who demand tonal versatility and session reliability without compromise.

Recording-Ready Construction

Neck-thru architecture with Ultra Access combined with a maple/walnut/padauk multi-ply neck reinforced with carbon fiber ensures rock-solid stability and minimal neck dive—critical for maintaining consistent intonation across multiple takes. The thin C contour, 24 XJ stainless steel frets, 16" fretboard radius, and 38mm Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut create a fast, responsive playing surface ideal for tight, articulate performances; the 8.5 lb weight keeps fatigue out of the equation during long tracking days or overdub sessions.

Tonal Flexibility for Production

The Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar Set with 3-way voicing switch—Classic, Funk, and Modern—lets you dial in your bass voice per track or part, cutting through from vintage warmth to aggressive punch without reaching for a different instrument. Push-pull coil splitting and a dedicated pickup blend knob provide fine-tuned tonal sculpting within a single take. A 2-band active EQ section (bass and treble) with master volume push-pull control rounds out a signal chain designed for mix-ready consistency straight from your interface.

Beautiful Bass Guitar!!!!
Review by
I have Three Schecter Bass Guitars. They are Both Stiletto 4 and 6. This feels the same, but plays like a Dream. The sound of the Fishman pick-ups are magnificent. A very versatile instrument with all the different options for sounds with toggle switch and the two step voice knob!. I love the Roman numerals on the frets, and the side fret markings. The side fret markings glow in the dark, for visibility in no light situations. The Grover tuning pegs are smooth as silk! I would recommend anyone who loves to play the Bass Guitar, this Beautious Instrument!!!!
