For a home studio, a bass that offers real tonal range saves time. The Riot series pairs Fishman or Schecter electronics with a modern offset body, giving you options to dial in a sound that sits properly under heavy guitars in a rock or metal mix, without reaching for a pile of outboard processing.

Track layout is the first decision. The Riot-4 suits tight, focused parts that stay out of the way, while the Riot-5 adds a low string for drop-tuned riffs and extended-range arrangements. The Riot Session models in Aged Natural Satin are a sensible pick for versatile session work, and the FreeZesicle Riot-5 brings a different character when a song needs something distinct. The fast neck also helps with takes that demand precision.

Pricing runs from about $949 to $1,449, a reasonable range for producers building a dependable DI-ready bass setup. Studio Gears lists the current models below so you can compare them for your next project.
