Description
Sound & Tone
The alder body with quilted maple top and 25.5" scale give the PT Pro a punchy, articulate voice with tight low end and clear note separation, while the pair of Schecter USA Z-Plus pickups push a forward mid-range and controlled sustain. The string-thru bridge with stainless steel saddles adds snap and solid attack, and the roasted maple neck and fretboard reinforce the bright, immediate response. It sits naturally in rock and metal rhythm work, though the 14" radius and X-Jumbo frets make it just as workable for fluid lead lines and cleaner single-coil-style neck tones.
Schecter PT Pro Electric Guitar Trans Blue Burst B-Stock 2791
The Schecter PT Pro captures articulate, punchy recordings with its thin "C" neck profile and roasted maple construction that enables fast, precise tracking. The quilted maple top over an alder body produces a focused, clear tone with excellent midrange presence—ideal for cutting through dense mixes in rock, metal, and contemporary production work. As a B-stock unit, you're acquiring full sonic and playability credentials at significant value.
Recording & Session Performance
The 25.5" scale roasted maple neck with a thin "C" profile ensures rapid fret access for efficient session work and overdubbing, while the roasted maple fretboard with 22 X-Jumbo frets and 14" radius supports smooth, controlled string articulation for clean lead and rhythm recordings. The Schecter Locking tuners and Graph Tech Black Tusq nut (42 x 3.4mm) maintain rock-solid tuning stability across multiple takes and extended tracking sessions.
Tone & Electronics for Mix-Ready Recordings
Two Schecter USA Z-Plus pickups (bridge and neck) deliver dynamic range with articulate note definition and punchy mids that sit naturally in the mix without excessive coloration. The Schecter PT-H Pro bridge with stainless steel saddles and string-thru design anchors the instrument with precise intonation and enhanced tonal transfer for consistent recording results, while the Dual Action Truss Rod enables precise neck relief adjustment to optimize string action for any recording scenario.
