Description
Sound & Tone
The mahogany body and bolt-on maple neck give this seven-string a firm, articulate voice with a warm low-mid core, while the 25.5"–27" multiscale layout keeps the low B tight and defined rather than loose in drop tunings. Schecter Diamond Heretic humbuckers at the bridge and neck lean aggressive and cutting, and the Hipshot multiscale fixed bridge adds sustain and steady intonation across the extended range. It suits metal, djent and progressive playing, with the 5-way switch offering enough variation for cleaner passages and neck-position lead work.
Schecter Omen Elite-7 Multiscale Guitar See-Thru Blue Burst
The Omen Elite-7 Multiscale is engineered for recording and tracking seven-string compositions with precision and clarity. Its thin "C"-profile maple neck and carefully graduated fretboard radius create a responsive instrument that captures articulate finger work and pick dynamics across a 24-jumbo-fret fingerboard. The multiscale design—ranging from 25.5" to 27"—resolves lower tunings with definition while maintaining consistent playability, making it ideal for layering extended-range parts in your productions. This right-handed configuration ships with factory-installed Ernie Ball 7-string (.009–.062) strings and full Schecter warranty coverage.
Recording & Tracking Performance
The neck features a thin "C" profile reinforced with carbon fiber rods, measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the 12th fret for fast, accurate tracking and overdubs. A 16" fretboard radius on rosewood translates to clean, articulate note definition on recordings, while the Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.889" wide) and Schecter tuners provide tuning stability across extended sessions. The mahogany body with arched burl top and black 1-ply binding contribute tonal character, while the bolt-on construction maintains responsiveness and tonal clarity session to session.
Pickup & Tone Shaping for Mix Integration
Dual Schecter Diamond Heretic pickups—bridge and neck—capture aggressive articulation with defined midrange presence, cutting clearly in dense mixes and heavy productions. The volume/tone/5-way switch control layout enables quick tonal adjustments during recording and overdub passes, while the Hipshot 7-String Multiscale Fixed Bridge in black hardware locks in solid sustain and precise intonation across the extended range for consistent takes.

Frequently Asked Questions
What tuning and string gauges is this guitar set up for?

Is the multiscale design comfortable for players new to seven-string guitars?
Yes. The thin "C"-profile maple neck with carbon-fiber reinforcement, 16" rosewood fretboard radius, and graduated multiscale geometry are engineered for fast, responsive playing, making the transition to extended range more intuitive for intermediate to advanced players.
How does the Hipshot multiscale bridge compare to other fixed-bridge seven-strings?
The Hipshot 7-String Multiscale Fixed Bridge is purpose-built for this guitar's scaled fretboard, ensuring precise intonation across all seven strings and solid sustain without the tuning instability often found on standard bridges adapted for extended range.

Is this guitar suitable for jazz or other clean-tone genres?
This guitar is optimized for heavy, aggressive playing styles and extended drop tunings; its pickups and overall tonal character are voiced for metal, djent, and progressive music rather than jazz or clean-tone applications.
