Sound & Tone
Three Schecter Diamond Nick Johnston single coils give this guitar a bright, articulate voice with clear note separation, and the 5-way switch covers the familiar range from snappy bridge bite to glassy in-between positions and a rounder neck tone. The lightweight alder body, bolt-on roasted maple neck, ebony fretboard and 25.5" scale add snap, clarity and sustain, while the Diamond Vintage Tremolo opens up expressive pitch bends and shimmer. It suits blues, funk, pop, classic rock and modern instrumental lead playing where dynamics and touch sensitivity matter more than high-gain thickness.
Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional Guitar Atomic Coral B-Stock
This unplayed Nick Johnston Traditional captures articulate, dynamic single-coil tones in the studio with its Thin C-profile roasted maple neck and ebony fretboard. The Atomic Coral finish delivers striking visual character on camera or in photos, while the lightweight alder body and bolt-on construction maintain the clarity and sustain essential for tracking and layering. B-stock condition with minor finish cracks at the fret edge represents exceptional value on a professionally-voiced instrument.
Recording Playability & Ergonomics
The roasted maple neck with Thin C profile measures 0.787" at the 1st fret and 0.866" at the 12th fret, enabling swift position changes and comfortable extended reach during long tracking sessions. 22 X-Jumbo frets on a 14" fingerboard radius provide solid note articulation and smooth bending for clean takes, while the Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut at 1.653" width ensures clean string definition and reliable tuning stability paired with Schecter Locking Tuners.
Tone & Electronics for Studio Tracking
Three Schecter Diamond Nick Johnston Single Coil pickups across bridge, middle, and neck positions deliver the articulate, dynamic single-coil character that cuts through dense mixes and stands defined on multitrack recordings, with a 5-way switch for quick tonal adjustments between takes. The Diamond Vintage Tremolo bridge provides smooth vibrato control while maintaining tuning integrity through multiple passes, while the 25.5" scale length and lightweight alder body contribute clarity and sustain across the frequency spectrum—critical for polished, sustained notes in production work.
