Description
Sound & Tone
Three Schecter Diamond 351 single-coils give the MV-6 a bright, articulate voice with the snap and quack of classic in-between positions, while the basswood body keeps the midrange even and the note attack focused rather than harsh. The 25.5" scale adds string tension and clarity for tight rhythm work and chiming clean tones, and the modified 5-way HS switching pulls in thicker, more saturated sounds when you push into overdrive. With 24 X-Jumbo frets, a 14" radius and a 2-point tremolo, it handles funk and pop-rock cleans as readily as fusion legato runs and higher-gain lead playing.
Schecter MV-6 Electric Guitar in Metallic Purple
The Schecter MV-6 combines a contoured basswood body with a fast, responsive wenge neck that enables extended tracking and layering sessions without player fatigue. This solidbody electric delivers a striking metallic purple finish alongside professional-grade construction throughout, designed to capture consistent, articulate performances across multiple genres and recording scenarios.
Playability & Neck Design
The thin "C"-shaped wenge neck with ebony fingerboard and 25.5" scale length provides a familiar, comfortable platform for extended range playing and detailed tracking work. 24 X-Jumbo frets and a 14" fretboard radius support both smooth legato lines and aggressive bending with clear definition in the mix, while Schecter locking tuners and a 2-way adjustable truss rod with heel access ensure tuning stability across long sessions and long-term adjustability.
Recording Versatility & Tone
Three Schecter Diamond 351 single-coil pickups paired with a modified 5-way HS pickup system deliver adaptable tonal range from clean articulation to driven saturation, allowing quick switching between textures during overdubs or performance takes. The Volume/Tone/5-Way SuperSwitch control layout provides intuitive access to the full palette for real-time adjustments, while the 2-point tremolo with stainless steel saddles maintains pitch stability during extended takes and moderate vibrato work.

Will this neck feel comfortable for long playing sessions?
Yes. The thin C-shaped wenge neck with 25.5" scale and 14" fretboard radius is designed specifically for extended playing without fatigue, and the contoured basswood body sits naturally against your body during long sessions. The 24 X-Jumbo frets and ebony fingerboard support both smooth legato and aggressive bending.
What genres and playing styles is the MV-6 best suited for?
The MV-6 excels in rock, metal, hard rock, progressive, and studio work. Its articulate cleans and driven saturation through three Diamond single-coils make it versatile within those styles, though it is not optimized for jazz, blues, or folk.

Three Schecter Diamond 351 single-coil pickups feed a modified 5-way HS pickup system with Volume, Tone, and SuperSwitch controls, giving you intuitive access to the full tonal palette from clean articulation to driven saturation.
