An eight-string changes what you can put on a track. The Schecter C-8 adds a low string beneath the standard range, giving producers and guitarists working in modern metal and djent extra room for heavy, low-tuned parts in a recording.

The C-8 Deluxe is the core model here, in Satin Black and Satin White, with a left-handed version too. The C-shape double-cutaway body keeps tracking comfortable across long sessions, which helps when you are stacking rhythm takes and chasing tight, consistent playing.

Priced from roughly $549 to $599, the C-8 is an accessible way to add a low-register voice to a home studio. At Studio Gears, browse the live selection below and pick the finish and handedness that suit your setup.
