Description
Sound & Tone
The C-7 Deluxe pairs a basswood body with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard for a balanced, even voice, while the 26.5" scale keeps the low seventh string tight and defined when tuned down. Dual Schecter Diamond Plus pickups deliver focused, articulate tones, and the Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-thru body construction adds solid sustain for chugging rhythm parts and sustained leads. With a simple volume, tone, and three-way switch layout, it suits modern metal, progressive, and other extended-range styles, and the neck pickup and in-between setting offer cleaner, rounder voices when a song calls for them.
Schecter C-7 Deluxe Electric Guitar Satin White
The C-7 Deluxe is engineered for extended-range recording and production work, delivering a comfortable, fast playing experience with its thin "C" neck profile and extended 26.5" scale optimized for seven-string tuning. The satin white finish paired with chrome hardware presents a clean, professional appearance on camera or in the studio. Built as a versatile workhorse for layering, tracking, and mixing, this instrument captures articulate tones across extended ranges without sacrificing playability or structural integrity.
Playability & Fretboard Response
The maple neck with rosewood fretboard delivers a smooth, responsive playing surface ideal for precise tracking and take consistency, while the thin "C" profile at .787" (20mm) at the first fret and .866" (22mm) at the twelfth fret enables quick hand positioning for efficient tracking sessions and complex extended-range passages. With 24 X-Jumbo frets, 4mm dot inlays, and a 16" fretboard radius, this guitar maintains session-critical intonation accuracy across the full seven-string voicing, and the 1.889" graphite nut ensures stable, clear tone definition for each string without tuning drift between takes.
Recording Tone & Pickup Design
Dual Schecter Diamond Plus pickups capture focused, articulate tonality across the full dynamic range of a seven-string setup, translating to clean separation in the mix during multitrack sessions. The volume and tone controls with a three-way switch provide immediate voice shaping flexibility for adapting to different session requirements, while the Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-thru body construction ensures solid sustain and tuning stability critical for punch and presence in recordings.
