Description
Sound & Tone
Dual Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers give the C-6 Plus a full-range, hot-wired voice: a thick, punchy bridge tone for rhythm chugs and lead runs, and a rounder neck setting for cleaner passages and sustained bends. The basswood body with quilted maple top keeps the midrange focused without harshness, while the string-thru Tune-O-Matic bridge adds sustain and note bloom. With a 25.5" scale, 14" radius and 24 X-Jumbo frets on a thin "C" maple neck, it leans toward hard rock and metal rhythm work and upper-register soloing, though the three-way switch and simple volume/tone layout keep it usable for general rock and blues playing.
Schecter C-6 Plus Guitar See-Thru Cherry Burst B-Stock
The C-6 Plus is engineered for studio tracking and extended session work, with a thin "C"-shaped maple neck and 24 X-Jumbo frets across a 25.5" scale that keep your playing precise during long recording hours. This B-Stock model is fully functional with cosmetic imperfections noted in the photos, making it an excellent value for engineers and producers seeking professional-grade construction without paying full retail. The See-Thru Cherry Burst finish showcases the quilted maple top elegantly across the bolt-on basswood body, translating to rich visual character in studio and live documentation.
Playing Experience & Neck Feel
The thin "C" neck profile measures .787" at the first fret and .866" at the 12th fret, enabling fast, accurate tracking takes and reducing hand fatigue during intensive session work. A 14" fretboard radius and graphite nut (1.653" width) deliver consistent response across single-note lines and chord voicings, while the 2-way adjustable truss rod allows for precise neck setup and seasonal adjustments in the studio environment.
Recording Tone & Signal Path
Dual Schecter Diamond Plus pickups capture full-range articulation through a straightforward Volume/Tone/3-Way Switch control layout with metal knurled knobs, giving you intuitive mid-session adjustments without reaching for external gear. The Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-thru-body design maximizes sustain and resonance for clean, sustained recordings, while chrome hardware ensures reliable, corrosion-resistant performance across multiple tracking days and climate conditions.
