Description
Sound & Tone
The pair of Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers push a thick, articulate voice with cutting high-end bite and full lows, while the basswood body and bolt-on maple neck keep things warm and even with solid sustain. A 25.5-inch scale and rosewood fretboard add clarity and snap to single-note lines, and the volume, tone, and 3-way switch cover crisp lead tones through dense rhythm work. With 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets, a thin neck, and the SGR by Floyd Rose tremolo, it leans toward hard rock and metal players who want fast lead runs, deep dive bombs, and expressive pitch effects.
Schecter C-6 FR Deluxe Electric Guitar Satin Black B-Stock
The C-6 FR Deluxe is engineered for studio recording and high-demand session work, delivering a buttery smooth playing experience with its contoured body and fast neck that accommodates extended techniques, rapid-fire passages, and complex layering in the mix. The versatile Schecter Diamond Plus pickup configuration produces a thick, articulate tone that balances aggressive clarity in the high-end with deep, resonant lows—critical for cutting through dense arrangements and maintaining definition across multiple takes. The SGR by Floyd Rose tremolo system unlocks pitch-bending effects and dramatic expression that add dimension to overdubs and creative texturing without destabilizing tuning across long sessions.
Playability & Feel
The thin 'C' neck profile measures just 20mm at the first fret and 22mm at the 12th, paired with a 25.5-inch scale and 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets for rapid, accurate note articulation and minimal finger fatigue during marathon tracking sessions. A 355mm fretboard radius and rosewood fretboard with 4mm dot inlays create a responsive playing surface that translates intention directly to tone, while the 2-way adjustable truss rod ensures stable, precise setup for consistent recording performance across any tuning demand.
Tone & Electronics
Dual Schecter Diamond Plus pickups deliver versatile voicing controlled via volume, tone, and a 3-way switch, letting you capture everything from crisp lead lines to crushing rhythm tones within a single session without swapping instruments. The SGR by Floyd Rose bridge with chrome hardware provides reliable tuning stability essential for punch-in recording and expressive tremolo range for creative effects, while the basswood body with flat top and beveled edge contributes warmth and sustain that sits cohesively in dense mixes and supports extended sustain for layered textures.
