Description
Sound & Tone
The pair of Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers pushes a punchy, midrange-forward voice, with a cutting, aggressive bridge tone for riffing and lead work and a rounder neck setting for cleaner passages. A basswood body with bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard keeps the response tight and focused rather than overly warm, while the Tune-O-Matic bridge and string-through-body construction add sustain and note bloom. The 25.5" scale with .010–.046 strings gives firm string tension and clear low-end definition, making it a natural fit for rock, metal, and modern hard-edged styles.
Schecter C-6 Deluxe Satin White B-Stock Guitar
The C-6 Deluxe is built for tracking and layering work, with its slim Thin 'C' maple neck and 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets across a 25.5" scale enabling fast, precise finger positioning during long session days. This B-stock unit shows excellent playability with minor cosmetic discoloration on the body—a fair trade for significant savings on a capable six-string instrument. The guitar arrives setup and ready to play out of the box.
Playability & Neck Feel
The Thin 'C' neck profile measures just 0.787" at the 1st fret and 0.866" at the 12th fret, reducing hand fatigue during extended recording takes and supporting clean articulation for both rhythm and lead parts. A 14" fretboard radius with 4mm dot inlays on rosewood provides consistent intonation and smooth transitions between positions, while the graphite nut (1.653" wide) ensures stable tuning and clear articulation across all six strings for predictable multi-take recordings.
Tone & Electronics
Dual Schecter Diamond Plus pickups in bridge and neck positions deliver punchy, articulate tones with clarity that sits well in dense mixes—ideal for rock, metal, and modern production. A straightforward Volume/Tone/3-Way Switch control layout with metal knurled knobs allows quick tonal shifts between takes without breaking workflow, while the Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-through-body design locks in sustain and resonance for consistent recordings across multiple session days.
