Martin IP66 PSU 240W for Creative LED on DMX
The Martin IP66 PSU 240W is a compact, rugged external power supply engineered to deliver stable, regulated 48 VDC output for networked DMX lighting rigs. Its extruded aluminum housing with clear anodized finish provides a slim profile that integrates seamlessly into studio setups, location shoots, and permanent installations, while maintaining the robust power delivery required by Martin's exterior LED fixtures and video products in complex control systems.
Design & Build
Measuring just 314 mm × 68 mm × 39 mm and weighing 1.5 kg, this unit positions flexibly within tight studio layouts, cable runs, and equipment racks. The IP66 and NEMA 4X ratings ensure full dust and water resistance for multi-day sessions in variable environments, while aluminum construction resists corrosion in humid studio spaces and on location. Heat dissipation is rated at up to 820 BTU/hr—ample headroom for continuous operation—with reliable performance across -30°C to +45°C, and a maximum surface temperature of 80°C under full load, keeping the unit cool during extended recording and lighting sessions.
Power & Protection
Auto-ranging 100-240 VAC input adapts to any standard outlet worldwide, drawing typical currents of 9.5 A at 100 V or 7.8 A at 120 V depending on your regional AC supply. The supply can be positioned up to 50 meters from connected fixtures, allowing flexible power distribution across large set footprints and studio spaces, while full protection circuits for overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, and over-temperature conditions with automatic recovery safeguard your lighting rig and associated gear during extended sessions and unattended operation.
