Signal Path & Connectivity

Two independent 1/4" instrument inputs let you track different bass tones without replugging, while Input 2 features a trim pot for precise level matching across instruments with varying output levels. The balanced XLR DI output includes switchable ground lift and selectable source mode—pre, post, and LA-IR emulation—enabling clean recording directly into your interface or console. Additional I/O includes dedicated tuner, FX send/return, headphone, and USB-C outputs; USB Class-compliant audio streaming at 48 kHz integrates seamlessly into most DAWs, while the LA-IR app provides further tonal refinement during mixing and post-production.

Recording Tone & Channel Design

The FET channel captures transparent, uncolored bass dynamics ideal for sessions requiring pristine tonal accuracy. The Tube channel features selectable gain characteristics with three different voicing options, allowing you to print warmth and sustain character directly into your recordings. Full EQ control spans Bass, Lo-mid with switchable Q and operating frequency, Hi-mid, Treble, and Tilt controls—all with +/− level adjustment to sculpt frequency response before capture. The Tube Range control and integrated FX loop enable in-line effect placement during tracking, while dedicated footswitches manage channel selection, bypass/mute, and input switching with LED status indicators for live session control.
