JBL JBL-SLP14/T-WH Sleek Low-Profile On-Wall Speaker, 4.5", White
The JBL-SLP14/T-WH is a compact on-wall speaker engineered for studio monitoring setups and control rooms where mounting flexibility and acoustic consistency are essential. Its ultra-slim 3.9" depth integrates seamlessly into tight wall installations while delivering balanced, predictable sound for mixing and reference applications. The included slide-in wall bracket and 15° down-tilt design enable straightforward mounting without structural modification to your recording space.
Mixing & Monitoring Performance
A 120mm polypropylene woofer paired with a 0.79" titanium dome tweeter produces balanced midrange and treble across a 70Hz–20kHz frequency range, providing useful frequency coverage for mixing small-format productions and evaluating mixes in secondary monitoring positions. The speaker handles 50W continuous pink noise and 100W program power, delivering sufficient headroom for production and mastering reference work without unnecessary SPL.
Flexible Integration & Connectivity
The 25-watt multi-tap transformer supports both 70V/100V distributed systems and direct 8-ohm operation, adapting to various studio amplifier configurations and networked audio installations. Connection via 4-pin Euroblock plug is quick and secure, while the included rain cover protects the terminal compartment during equipment moves or humid studio conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does B-Stock mean?
B-Stock means the speaker is fully functional with minor cosmetic imperfections. It performs identically to new stock but may show light marks or finish wear on the casing or grille.
Can this speaker handle high-volume live sound or DJ use?
No — this speaker is engineered for background music, paging, and distributed audio in commercial spaces. It is not rated for high-SPL live sound or bass-heavy playback, and would not be suitable for stage monitoring or DJ venues.
What amplifier or system does it connect to?
The included 25-watt multi-tap transformer lets you integrate it into 70V or 100V distributed audio systems (common in commercial installations). You can also switch it to direct 8-ohm operation and connect it to a standard receiver or amplifier with speaker terminals.
How deep does this speaker stick out from the wall?
Only 3.9 inches (100mm) deep — slim enough to comply with ADA accessibility guidelines and tight enough for retrofit installations where you cannot modify walls or cavities.
What frequencies does it cover?
The speaker delivers 70Hz to 20kHz, with a balanced midrange and clean treble optimized for speech clarity, background music, and consistent coverage across venues. It is not designed for deep bass playback.
