JBL Control 47HC Premium 6.5" Speaker For High-Ceilings W RBI (Pair) B-Stock
The JBL Control 47HC is a coaxial ceiling speaker built for room installations where even coverage and consistent output anchor the acoustic environment. Its compact 13.1" diameter profile mounts flush into standard ceiling grids, while the three suspension tabs on the top panel provide secure installation. B-stock units offer full performance at a reduced price point.
Room Coverage & Acoustic Blending
Built for high-ceiling spaces, the Control 47HC delivers a 75° conical constant-directivity coverage pattern that maintains even sound pressure across the listening area, critical for consistent monitoring and playback during mixing and mastering sessions. The included C-rings, tile rails, paint shield, and cutout template streamline mounting into drop ceilings or custom studio installations.

This speaker handles 150 Watts continuous program power (300W peak) with 93 dB sensitivity and a maximum SPL of 112 dB at 1 meter (118 dB peak). The 6.5-inch polypropylene woofer with butyl rubber surround paired with a 1-inch ferrofluid-cooled soft dome tweeter produce a frequency response of 55 Hz to 17 kHz, ensuring both low-end weight and extended high-frequency detail essential for tracking and mixing.
