JBL CBT 70JE-1 Extension for CBT 70J-1 Column Speaker, Black
The CBT 70JE-1 is a dedicated extension module that expands the vertical coverage and output capability of the CBT 70J-1 column speaker system. Stack this extension with the base unit to create a cohesive array with enhanced directivity and acoustic reach, ideal for recording studios, post-production facilities, and other professional environments requiring extended pattern control and deeper bass response across the full frequency spectrum.
Recording & Mix Positioning
This extension delivers extended bass response down to 45 Hz and maintains precise pattern control to 400 Hz for ±20° control, with substantial off-axis cancellation extending to 200 Hz. The switchable vertical coverage modes—Narrow Mode 25° (±10°) or Broad Mode 45° (±10°)—combined with 150° horizontal coverage (±20°), let you shape the speaker's directional behavior to match your control room geometry, ensuring accurate monitoring and consistent imaging across the listening field.
Physical Integration
The extension weighs 45 lbs and features a reinforced grille design for durability in demanding studio environments. Twelve M6 mounting points accept forged shoulder steel eyebolts or swivel clips, enabling secure stacking alongside the primary speaker unit for vertically configured arrays that integrate seamlessly into your monitoring setup.
