Description
JBL C24CT-BK 4" 2-Way Coaxial Ceiling Speaker with Transformer
The C24CT-BK is a professional-grade in-ceiling monitor designed for studio control rooms, broadcast facilities, and production spaces requiring distributed monitoring across multiple rooms or zones. Its compact 7.2" depth allows for seamless flush-mount installation in standard ceiling cavities, while the included back can and tile rails simplify setup. The coaxial design ensures phase-coherent blending of the woofer and tweeter, delivering reliable, consistent imaging across the listening area without phase aberrations that complicate mixing decisions.
70V/100V Transformer Integration for Multi-Zone Studio Setups
The integrated 30W multitap transformer supports both 70V and 100V line configurations—ideal for routing independent mix feeds to isolation booths, machine rooms, headphone distribution systems, or secondary monitoring stations. Switchable taps at 30W, 15W, 7.5W (plus 37W at 70.7V) allow you to dial in precise level matching across each zone without external transformers or adapters, enabling clean, galvanically isolated signal distribution throughout the facility.
Coaxial Acoustic Design & Driver Protection
The coaxially mounted 4" woofer with butyl rubber surround and 0.75" titanium-coated diffraction-loaded tweeter produce a 130° coverage pattern across an 80 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, ensuring even tonal balance and consistent mix translation across the sweet spot. SonicGuard Overload Protection safeguards the drivers against peak-level damage during extended tracking or monitoring sessions, maintaining reliability in round-the-clock production environments.
