JBL AC25-WH AC25 — Dual 5.25" 2-Way Speaker (White)
Finish: WHITE (AC25-WH). JBL publishes photos of the black version only; the pictures show the same product in black. This listing is the white finish.
The JBL AC25-WH is a compact yet capable two-way speaker built for studio recording and live session environments where consistent, articulate coverage across multiple monitoring positions is essential. Its modest footprint and dual-connector configuration make it straightforward to integrate into existing studio systems, while the white finish blends into control rooms and live tracking spaces without visual distraction.
Design & Build Quality
Construction centers on a multi-ply hardwood enclosure paired with a heavy-duty powder-coated steel grille and acoustically transparent foam backing that protects drivers while maintaining sonic transparency. The finish resists UV degradation and cosmetic wear typical in professional studio and mobile recording environments.
Recording & Monitoring Performance
The combination of dual 5.25" low-frequency drivers and a 1" dome tweeter with 90° × 90° waveguide delivers even coverage across a wide horizontal and vertical plane, critical for control rooms and live rooms where sound must remain consistent across engineer, producer, and artist positions. 450W program power handling (300W AES / 225W–900W IEC rated) provides sufficient headroom for typical studio amplification without thermal stress, while the 16 ohm impedance facilitates multi-speaker wiring schemes for stereo and surround session setups.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the 16 ohm impedance mean for wiring multiple speakers?
16 ohm impedance is ideal for multi-speaker installs because it allows you to wire several AC25-WH units in parallel or series-parallel configurations without dropping below safe amplifier load ratings. This simplifies system design and amplifier matching in venues requiring broad coverage.
What's the coverage pattern, and is it suitable for overhead or wall mounting?
The 90° × 90° waveguide delivers even horizontal and vertical dispersion, making it effective for ceiling, wall, or corner installations where consistent sound across multiple listening positions is critical. The white finish and compact footprint blend into commercial or architectural environments.
How does the dual 5.25" driver design affect low-end output compared to single-driver speakers?
Dual 5.25" drivers increase total cone area and headroom without requiring a larger cabinet, providing more controlled bass extension and consistent output across the frequency range while maintaining the speaker's modest footprint for tight install spaces.
What amplifier power should I pair with the AC25-WH?
The 450W program power rating and 300W AES specification indicate that 200–400W per speaker is typical for install amplifiers; the 16 ohm impedance accommodates standard commercial amp channels. Multi-speaker systems should be wired and gain-staged according to venue SPL and coverage requirements.
What connectors are included, and can I mix connector types in the same system?
The AC25-WH features dual Neutrik NL4 connectors plus screw terminals, allowing flexible input wiring from your amplifier. You can use either connector type depending on your amp's output configuration.
Do I pay sales tax on this order?
We collect sales tax only on orders shipped to California. Orders shipped to any other US state are charged $0 sales tax at checkout when you buy direct from our website.
