Sound & Tone
The direct-mount EMG 81X bridge and 85X neck actives push high output with tight, crisp articulation, while the alder body and maple neck add balanced clarity with an upper-midrange push that keeps fast riffing defined under heavy gain. Neck-thru construction and the 25.5" scale give long sustain and firm string tension, and the Macassar ebony board with extra-jumbo stainless frets keeps leads snappy and responsive. It's aimed squarely at thrash and modern metal, with a Floyd Rose 1000SE and locking nut for dive bombs and extreme pitch work without losing tuning.
ESP LTD MK-EC-FR Millie Petrozza Guitar Black Satin
The MK-EC-FR delivers a thin U-shaped neck profile designed for speed and comfort, with a waist cut in the body for seamless upper-fret access. Neck-thru construction ensures exceptional sustain and stability, while the 25.5" scale provides reliable string tension for aggressive playing styles. This signature model built for Kreator's Millie Petrozza combines precision engineering with the demanding requirements of modern metal performance.
Recording & Session Performance
The three-piece maple neck and Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets deliver a snappy, responsive playing surface that tracks cleanly through rapid note transitions and vigorous bending in the studio. A locking nut with 42mm width maintains tuning stability through extreme tremolo manipulation during overdubs, while the thin U-shaped neck contour facilitates fluid movements and high-speed passages essential for capturing tight, articulate takes in thrash and heavy metal sessions.
Tone & Pickup Electronics
Direct-mount EMG 85X (neck) and EMG 81X (bridge) active pickups generate high-output punch with crisp articulation that cuts through dense mixes and sits well in layered rhythm tracks. The Floyd Rose 1000SE double-locking tremolo maintains precise intonation during extreme pitch manipulation across multiple takes, while the alder body with black binding contributes balanced tonal clarity with upper midrange emphasis that keeps articulate metal tones defined in the mix.

Is the Floyd Rose tremolo reliable for live use?
Yes. The Floyd Rose 1000SE features direct locking at the headstock (42mm locking nut) and a stainless steel screw block, designed to maintain precise intonation through extreme pitch bends and vigorous tremolo work on stage and in the studio.
What pickups does it have and how do they sound in a mix?
It features EMG 81X (bridge) and EMG 85X (neck) direct-mount active pickups that generate high-output clarity and articulation with upper-midrange emphasis, optimized for metal tones that cut through dense mixes without muddiness.
How does the neck feel and is upper-fret access really that good?
The thin U-shaped maple neck with Macassar ebony fingerboard and a waist cutaway in the body prioritizes upper-fret fluidity and rapid transitions essential for thrash and lead work. The 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets are responsive and durable for aggressive playing.
