Description
Sound & Tone
The mahogany body and flamed maple top give this guitar a dense, sustaining voice with weight underneath and clarity on top, while the 25.5" scale and set-thru neck joint keep string tension tight and note attack defined. Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers push that foundation into high-gain territory — the ceramic bridge unit is aggressive and articulate for riffing and lead work, the Alnico neck pickup rounder and warmer for cleans and melodic passages, with push-pull voicing switching adding vintage-leaning and modern options from each position. The Evertune bridge holds pitch through hard picking and heavy bends, making it a practical choice for drop tunings, modern metal, progressive playing, and studio work where tuning stability matters.
ESP LTD MH-1000ET Evertune Charcoal Burst B-Stock
The MH-1000ET captures articulate, controlled tones through its set-thru mahogany construction and razor-sharp neck profile, making it ideal for layering high-gain sources in the mix. This guitar's substantial body mass translates to focused sustain and tight note definition—essential for precision tuning and maintaining clarity in dense arrangements. Combine that with Fishman's active pickup system and the Evertune F-model bridge, and you get a recording platform that holds tuning stability across aggressive bending, drop tunings, and multiple takes without drift. B-stock pricing reflects minor cosmetic blemishes—the playability and electronics are uncompromised.
Recording Tone & Sustain
Set-thru mahogany body with flamed maple top ensures tonal density and sustain through its neck joint design, capturing punchy transients and extended decay ideal for both rhythm tracking and lead overdubs. The Evertune F-model bridge with Nickel saddles automatically compensates for string tension fluctuations, keeping the guitar perfectly in tune even under aggressive playing and tuning variations—a significant advantage for drop tunings and extreme bend work. In the studio, this means faster comp takes and cleaner punch-in sessions without re-tuning between passes.
Session Versatility & Playability
The 3-piece maple neck with Extra-thin-U contour and 24 XJ stainless steel frets on a 25.5" scale provides fast access to upper frets and superior fret durability for both rhythm work and technical lead passages. Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers (Alnico neck, Ceramic bridge) with active electronics deliver three voicing options via push-pull control, giving producers and engineers immediate tonal flexibility without swapping guitars—warm, vintage-styled rhythm tones from the neck position and aggressive, articulate modern lead textures from the bridge, all captured in a single session.

Frequently Asked Questions
What tuning situations is the Evertune bridge designed for?
The Evertune F-model automatically compensates for string tension fluctuations, eliminating tuning drift during aggressive bending, heavy vibrato, and extreme drop tunings. This makes it ideal for metal and hard rock where tuning stability under performance stress is critical.
Can I switch between different tones on this guitar?
Yes. The dual Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers each have independent push-pull tone controls offering three distinct voicing options per pickup—ranging from warm vintage character to cutting modern aggression—giving you sonic flexibility without swapping guitars.
Is this guitar suitable for jazz or blues?
This guitar is engineered specifically for metal, hard rock, progressive, and drop-tuning applications. Its tone profile, bridge design, and active electronics are optimized for high-gain and modern contexts rather than jazz or blues playing.
What is the neck profile and fret access like?
The 3-piece maple neck features an extra-thin-U contour with 24 XJ stainless steel frets on a 25.5-inch scale, enabling rapid upper-fret access and superior fret longevity for fast lead work and soloing.
What comes with the guitar and what is included?
The MH-1000NT includes set-thru mahogany body with flamed maple top, the Evertune F-model bridge with Nickel saddles, dual Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, active electronics, and Grover tuning machines. A case or gig bag is not specified in the product details.
